MAC Opens Region 16 Tournament Play On Thursday

The MAC women's basketball team came up just short of upsetting #2 ranked Three Rivers College to wrap up their regular season on Saturday, March 1, falling by a final score of 74-72.  The # 4 seeded Cardinals will now change their focus to the postseason and a play-in game matchup against #5 Moberly Area CC on Thursday, March 6 at home.  Thursday's game is scheduled to tip at 6:00pm.  Each game of the Region 16 Women's Basketball Tournament will be played at the higher seeds.  Below is the schedule and seeds.

3 – Crowder

4 – Mineral Area

5 – Moberly

Thursday, March 6 – Play-in game @ MAC – 6:00pm

Tuesday, March 11 – Semifinal games @ Higher Seeds – 6:00pm

Friday, March 14 – Championship game @ Highest Remaining Seed – 6:00pm
