MAC Sweeps Three Rivers, Advances To Region 16 Tournament

The MAC baseball team recently took on Three Rivers College in a best-of-three sub-regional on Saturday, May 6.  The Cardinals, seeded 5^th, traveled to take on #4 Three Rivers at Capaha Park in Cape Girardeau, MO. 

The Cardinals got excellent starts on the mound from Ray Ochoa and Ryker Walton and swept the Raiders, winning by scores of 6-3 and 10-5.

With the series win over Three Rivers, MAC advances to the Region 16 Tournament in Joplin, MO.  The tournament will run from May 11-13 and will be played at Joe Becker Stadium.  The winner of the Region 16 Tournament will host the South Central District Tournament May 18-20.
