MAC Splits Series With Jefferson To Earn #4 Seed In Sub-Regional

The Mineral Area College baseball team played a 4-game series on Friday, April 19 and Sunday, April 21 against Jefferson College.  On Friday, MAC hosted the Vikings and secured the 2-game sweep, winning by scores of 13-3 and 7-3.  The Vikings were able to even the series at home on Sunday with 5-3 and 11-1 wins.

With the split against Jefferson, MAC moved to 24-24 overall and 13-15 in Region 16.  The Cardinals will be the #4 seed for the upcoming Region 16 Sub-Regional, hosting St. Louis CC on Friday, May 3 and Saturday, May 4.  The winner of the best-of-three series will advance to the Region 16 Tournament in Joplin, MO on May 9-11.
