MAC Cruises Into Postseason As #1 Seed, Ranked 15th Nationally
The MAC baseball team recently secured the #1 seed for the upcoming sub-regional tournament. The Cardinals will host 8th seeded MSU-West Plains on Friday, May 2 and Saturday, May 3. Friday's game is set to start at 2pm. Game two will take place at noon on Saturday with the "if needed" game three to follow.
The winner of the sub-regional series will advance to the Region 16 Tournament. The Region 16 Tournament will take place May 8-10 at Joe Becker Stadium in Joplin, MO.
The 15th ranked Cardinals finished the regular season at 36-6 overall and 17-3 in Region 16. MAC also won the MCCAC Championship with a perfect 22-0 record in conference play.
