Cardinals Secure #1 Seed With Win Over State Fair

The Mineral Area College men's basketball team secured the #1 seed in the upcoming Region 16 Tournament with 59-48 win over State Fair CC on Saturday, February 24.  MAC was led offensively by Preston Turner (14 points) and Amarion Dickerson (10 points). 

In the win, the Cardinals improved to 27-2 overall and 10-1 in Region 16 play.  MAC will now travel to Three Rivers College on Saturday, March 2 to wrap up the regular season. 

The Cardinals will open Region 16 Tournament play at home in a semifinal matchup on Thursday, March 7 against the winner of Three Rivers College and MSU-West Plains.  If MAC wins the semifinal game, they will host the Region Championship on Saturday, March 9 at 7pm.
