MAC Golf Season Underway, Will Dugal Wins Osage National Tournament

The Mineral Area College golf team traveled to the Lake of the Ozarks to play in the Osage National Tournament hosted by Mount Mercy University on March 25 & 26.  MAC placed third in the 12-team event. While playing in a driving rain storm and also bitter cold with high winds, the team showed grit and resilience to finish third.

North County High School graduate Will Dugal paced the field with an outstanding score of 216-even par for the entire tournament, his MAC career low tournament round.  Mineral Area also had rounds by Ben Allison +6, Cylas Worley +7. Gavin Huck +8 and Ethan McClinton +11.  

Special congratulations to Will Dugal for winning FIRST Place in the Osage National Golf Tournament.

Prior to the Osage National Tournament, MAC participated in the Central Baptist College Spring Invitational in Cabot, AR March 17-19.  In the 54-hole event, MAC was again paced by Will Dugal, turning in a 229 and finishing in the top 20.  Other scores for the Cardinals included Cylas Worley - 237, Ethan McClinton - 241, Ben Allison - 248 and Morgan Diamond - 251.
