Golf Team Opens 2024-25 With Record-Breaking Performance
The Mac golf team started their fall season in grand fashion with a school record performance at The War at the Moor Tournament. The Cardinals posted a score of eight under par with a 280.
This score also secured the team's first tournament championship as the Cardinals bested 11 other teams in Creston, Iowa.
The Cardinals are very deep and were able to participate with two teams in the tournament. The Mac Golf 25 men placed first and third in this event.
Payton Strattman competed in his first college tournament was the medalist with a -4 round of 68, including a 140 yard hole out for eagle on his first hole.
The deep Mineral Area squad had six players under par at The War at the Moor.
