MAC Claims MCCAC Championship with 2-0 Win Over Jefferson

The MAC men's soccer team defeated Jefferson College 2-0 on Wednesday, October 11 to claim their first Missouri Community College Athletic Conference Championship in program history.

In Wednesday's match, both teams missed opportunities in the first half and the match remained scoreless at the half.  In the 48^th minute, Shay Carey found the back of the net to give the Cardinals a 1-0 win.  Chalon Domian also scored at 75:00 and MAC held on for a 2-0 win.  Josh Wilson secured the shutout in net for the Cardinals. 

With the win, MAC claimed their first ever MCCAC Championship and improved to 11-1-2 overall.  The 9^th ranked Cardinals will wrap up their regular season on the road at Elgin CC on Thursday, October 19.
