Bio

Jamie Pickel is in his 3rd season as an assistant coach with Mineral Area. Before joining MAC, Jamie Pickel was a Senior Program Coach for STCFC formerly known as Global Premier Soccer (GPS) based in St. Charles, MO. Prior to his promotion with STCFC, he served as a Premier Coach for GPS St. Louis working with boys U6-U18. Jamie also was the Boys Technical Coordinator for Madrinas SC in Wentzville, MO working with boys U6-U12. Before that Jamie was the Director of Coaching for USC: SEMO. He also served as Goalkeeper Coach for Jackson High School. In 2015-16 Jamie was named as the Assistant Coach for East Central College Men’s Soccer. During his time, he guided the team to a 16-4-1 record earning an overall ranking of #17 in NJCAA DI.

Jamie currently holds the USSF D License and is working towards the USSF C. He earned his USYS National Youth License, USC Director of Coaching diploma, USC Futsal Level 1 diploma, USC Goalkeeper 1, 2, & 3 diplomas, as well as the USSF 4v4, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11 diplomas.

Jamie played at the college level for East Central College as a goalkeeper. After playing at ECC Jamie received his Bachelor's Degree in English at Lindenwood University. Prior to playing at ECC he was a high school standout at Cape Central, in Cape Girardeau, MO.

Jamie currently resides in Park Hills, MO.
