Lindenwood Invitational Results

MINERAL AREA TRACK & FIELD COMPETED AT LINDENWOOD INVITATIONAL

The MAC Track & Field teams competed at the Dick Cochran Invitational on the campus of Lindenwood University on Saturday, April 23rd.  Extremely high winds kept the Cardinals from posting very many quality performances, but they still managed to hold their own in the 17-team meet. Top performances for the MAC women came from Reilly Baughman and Brianna Sansoucie with PR times in their National qualifying 100-meter dash and 100-meter hurdle races respectively, along with a personal best for Molly Gearhart in the Discus which has her ranked 2nd in the Nation for the NJCAA Division III performances.  For the men, Hunter Cary had nice performances in the 100-meter dash and 110-meter hurdles, while Josh Duerr improved his best in the Discus, just short of the National qualifying standard.  Complete results for the Mineral Area teams can be found at the following site:

The Redbirds have their last competition before Nationals on Saturday, April 30th, at the Illinois College True Blue Invitational in Jacksonville, Illinois.
