Men's XC Wins 4th Straight Region Title

The MAC Men and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to Peculiar, Missouri on Friday, October 28th for competition at the Region 16 Championships.  The Running Cards came away with their 4th straight team titles for both genders, not only winning the Division 3 race but also coming out on top of team scores in the combined race with Division 1 and 2 schools.  Freshman Bradley Ahrens once again led the way for Mineral Area, winning the overall 8-kilometer race with a time of 27:11.  Ahrens was joined on the All Region team by Sophomore Devin St. Clair and Freshman Elijah Myers, who placed 2nd and 3rd respectively in the Division 3 race.  Complete results for the MAC teams were:

The MAC XC teams will finish their seasons this Saturday, November 5th at the NJCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships in Westfield, Massachusetts.  Both teams enter the meet with # 1 rankings and hope to finish the season with top team finishes and some All-American performances.
