MAC Faces Three Rivers With #1 Seed On The Line

The Mineral Area College women's basketball team faces a stiff challenge on Saturday, March 2 when they travel to Poplar Bluff, MO to take on Three Rivers College in the final regular season game of the year.  The winner of Saturday's game will also earn the #1 seed for the upcoming Region 16 Tournament. 

The Cardinals have already guaranteed themselves a home semifinal game on Tuesday, March 12 at 6pm.  The winner of Tuesday's semifinal matchups will advance to the Region 16 Championship on Friday, March 15 at the highest remaining seed.

The Cardinals are currently 25-3 overall and have split the season series with Three Rivers (1-1).  MAC is paced offensively by Katelyn Chomko (14.0 ppg).  Meanwhile, Sydney Lewis has grabbed 9.1 rebounds per game to lead team.
