MAC Gets Home Win Over MCC

The MAC women's soccer team continued their winning streak in Region 16 play with a 4-1 win over Metropolitan CC on Thursday, September 29.  In Thursdasy's win, the Lady Cardinals fell behind early, but Cennet Oruc answered at 25:00 to even the match a one.  Just before halftime, Gabriella Gant set up Hannah Miller to give MAC a 2-1 lead.  Miller's goal would be all the Lady Cardinals would need, as they added goals from Emma Winkler and Leah Buerck (assisted by Mallory Mathes) to cruise to a 4-1 win.  Alexys Cook made three saves in the win.

With the win over MCC, MAC improved to 5-4-1 overall, and 3-0-1 in Region 16 and MCCAC play.  The Lady Cardinals will be back in action on Sunday, October 2 at home vs. Lewis and Clark CC.
