Lady Cardinals Wrap Up Regular Season With Win, Prepare For Postseason Play

The MAC women's soccer team traveled to Culver-Stockton College on Sunday, October 16 for their final regular season match of the season.  In Sunday's match, Mallory Mathes found the back of the net twice in the first half and Colleen Flanagan chipped in with a goal and two assists to lead MAC to a 3-0 win.  Alexys Cook made four saves in net to record the shutout for the Lady Cardinals.

With the win, MAC improved to 7-6-1 on the season.  The Lady Cardinals received the #2 seed for the upcoming Region 16 Tournament and will host the winner of State Fair CC and St. Louis CC in the semifinal round on Wednesday, October 26.  Wednesday's match will be played at MAC and is set to begin at 2:00pm.
