MAC Falls To St. Charles in Region Final, Prepares For District Tournament

The MAC women's soccer team fell to St. Charles CC by a score of 1-0 in the Region 16 Championship on Sunday, October 30.  In Sunday's match, both sides failed to capitalize on multiple opportunities and the match remained scoreless after 45 minutes of play.  In the second half, St. Charles finally broke through, scoring at 75:00.  MAC was unable to come from behind in the final 15 minutes and St. Charles claimed the regional championship.

With the loss to St. Charles, the Lady Cardinals fell to 6-9-1 overall.  MAC will be back in action in the Central District Tournament on Friday, November 4 against #1 Heartland Community College.  The Central District Tournament will be hosted by Mineral Area College.
