Herget, Waller-Brenneke & Henry All Win Gold At NJCAA National Championship

Three throwers for the Mineral Area women's track & field team won gold at the NJCAA National Tournament in Utica, NY. Congratulations to Nora Henry, Addison Waller-Brenneke and Cassidy Herget on this tremendous accomplishment.

MAC's most impressive showing came in the field events, where the Cardinals captured three individual event titles:

• Nora Henry (FR) claimed gold in the shot put, unleashing a top throw of 10.76 meters (35' 3.75") to secure 10 points for the team.
• Addison Waller-Brenneke (FR) delivered a clutch performance in the discus, taking first place with a throw of 38.41 meters (126' 0").
• Cassidy Herget (SO) earned top honors in the javelin, winning the event with a best throw of 33.36 meters (109' 5").
