Cardinals Sweep Their Way To National Tournament

The MAC volleyball team is headed back to the NJCAA D1 National Volleyball Tournament for the fifth time in program history after claiming the Midwest B District Championship.  On Sunday, November 5, MAC first defeated Kaskaskia College in straight sets (25-17, 25-13, 25-15) to advance to the championship match against host Iowa Western CC.  In the championship match against Iowa Western, the Cardinals continued to roll, winning by scores of 25-23, 25-17 and 25-21.  

The Cardinals have now claimed the Region 16 Championship, Midwest B District Championship and advanced to the NJCAA D1 National Volleyball Tournament.  The tournament will be held at the Hutchinson Sport Arena in Hutchinson, KS November 15-18.  Seeds for the tournament will be announced on Thursday, November 9.
